Bethel Photo Albums
1944 - June 1990
This page provides access to pictures from Bethel's past. Some have been available in photo albums that were put together in the 1980's for sharing during Homecoming and other gatherings of Bethel's extended church family. Those albums are now in the church library. Others come from albums and loose pictures that have been gathered more recently. Each of the items below provide access to an "index page" for the photos in one of the albums. Click on the photo icon at the beginning of a line to open the index page. Each album's page contains small copies of the photos in the album. Click on a small photo to open a view of the full size picture. Use your browser's "back" control to return to the index page. If you have the RealPlayer software on your PC, clicking on the Album heading on an index page will open a "slide show" of pictures on the page.
Individual photos can be saved to your hard drive by clicking on a small photo on an index page to view the full picture and then using your browser's "File", "Save As" option (or right click on the photo and use the "Save Picture as" option) to save the photo. All pictures are in standard JPEG format.
This first group of albums are the ones that are physically in the church library and our brought to Homecoming dinners in the fellowship hall for display and browsing.
The next group of albums come from "Family Albums" of Phillip and Betty Brown. They are identified here with the number that the albums have been assigned in their family library although the pictures here are just those that were taken at church related activities. The subjects of the pictures include many activities that are already recorded in Bethel's photo albums as well as some others. There are few duplicates in actual pictures as these family albums contain many gaps where pictures were removed to put into the albums at Bethel.
The following albums also come from the library of Phillip and Betty Brown. They contain some of the same pictures as the other albums, but also have additional pictures taken by Phillip's parents during their visits to Tallahassee and Bethel.
Building the Fellowship Hall - These grainy black and white photos show various stages in the construction of Bethel's Fellowship hall.
Carol Koski Photos - These pictures of a Sept 1958 wedding at Bethel were provided by Carol Koski in 2009 but haven't yet been incorporated into a Photo Album.
Women's Retreats - These pictures were provided by Linda Cisne but haven't yet been incorporated into a Photo Album.
