Wedding of Cana
I ran across the following articles when browsing the internet for information on "the wedding in Cana". I found these interesting...perhaps you will too.
The first is a "faith based" telling of the story with some interesting observations that may plausibly "fill out" some details of the event to answer questions that might arise in a first reading of the stories in the gospels.
Wedding in Cana of Galilee
The next article is similar but more speculative and from an academic's point of view.
A Wedding at Cana - Whose and Where
The third describes modern attempts to determine the location of the event.
Where Did Jesus turn Water into Wine?
The last is a wikipedia article about a 16th century painting attempting to depict the event in a style "appropriate" for the 16th century. It may be interesting because of the descriptions of the artistic style and design, as well as the content and figures represented.

Worship Series: "Love Never Ends: Being the Body of Christ"
from umcdiscipleship.org
Epiphany is about the revealing of the light to the world. Not all see it, of course; this is why Jesus frequently said, “let those who have ears to hear, hear.” Even we have moments where we aren’t so sure that we have seen that light. Yet, we who gather for worship have caught a glimpse of something, and we come to celebrate and to lean into that hope.

This Week's Theme: "Varieties of Gifts"
Liturgical Resources
“Love never ends” is the guiding theme for the whole series, but it is manifest in a variety of ways through these texts from I Corinthians. We begin this week with an emphasis on giftedness. God’s love for us is shown in the work that we do and in the gifts that we use. But not just in the doing itself, we see God’s love in the way service builds relationships and then those relationships create community.
