On this Fifteenth Sunday After Pentecost, we are looking ahead to several new "seasons". Tomorrow is the first day of "Autumn"...astronomically speaking...and it is also the first day of a "New Year", Rosh Hashanah on the Jewish calendar. The resource page has more about each of these.
We are also entering a period when we seriously shift into "planning mode", preparing for Charge Conference, Homecoming, and a string of other celebrations: Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas and our New Year.
On the Resource page, the series of worship plans from the UMC Discipleship Services: "I Will Call Upon the Lord", continues with the reasoning that it is all "For the Glory"
