Meet the New District Superintendant

On this Monday morning at 9:30 am, we gathered in the fellowship hall to meet Rev. Catherine Fluck Price, the new District Superintendant of the combined Northwest and Gainesville Districts of the Florida Conference.

Rev. Price's and pastor Ralph's ministerial paths and
the past, present and future of Bethel, the District and the Conference
Those meeting with the D.S. were:
Travis and Tina Oaks, Judy Wrightstone, Pat Singletary, Betty Brown, Don Singletary, and Pastor Ralph
The meeting was followed by a visit to the church buildings
Some notes about the sanctuary furniture:
the pulpit, communion table and chancel rail were all part of Trinity Church in the 1800's and the pulpit was used to convene the first meeting of the Florida Conference, Feb 6,1845. The pulpit came to Bethel in 1895 and the table and chancel rail in 1946.
