As we transition from summer to fall, we are called back together to work out how we will live in community as a witness to our faith. As a refresher, we ask you to consider these “Lessons in Leadership” as a way of shaping the body we seek to be. This is not a how-to with specifics for each communal situation, but an attitude check, a value inventory to ask who we will be together as we build up the church. We invite you to join us for “Lessons in Leadership.”
This Service's Theme: "Power"
This worship explores the complex theme of power by highlighting unconventional biblical leaders who bravely used their influence to defy oppression and champion truth. Recognizing that power itself is simply a tool, the service will challenge us to examine how we wield our own influence and confess where we fall short. Through focused prayers, hymns, and storytelling, we will come together to seek the wisdom and humility to use our power faithfully for God's purposes.
